While the engagement potential of newsgames is massive, Indian media houses face a critical hurdle: the need for dedicated coding skills. Experts warn that poorly designed games can detract from the story rather than enhance it. The Bharat Media Association urges media conglomerates to invest in hybrid tech-editorial teams, partnering journalists with skilled developers to produce seamless interactive content.
