The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert in Delhi due to heatwave conditions. In some areas of Delhi, the temperature has touched almost 45 degrees Celsius, IMD said.
In Ayanagar, the maximum temperature reached 45.3 degrees Celsius today, June 10, at 8.30 AM IST.
According to an IMD post on X, Lodhi Road, Safdarjung, Palam, Ridge, and Ayanagar reported the highest temperatures.
