పాసింగ్ అవుట్ పరేడ్ సమయంలో జర్నలిస్టులపై జరిగిన అనుచిత ప్రవర్తనను ఖండిస్తూ PUWJ గట్టి నిరసన వ్యక్తం చేసింది. జర్నలిస్టులు ఎక్కడ ఉన్నా గౌరవం, భద్రత, సముచిత వ్యవహారం పొందడం వారి మౌలిక హక్కు అని సంస్థ స్పష్టంగా తెలిపింది. ఈ నిరసన ఒక్క ఘటనకు ప్రతిస్పందన మాత్రమే కాదు ప్రెస్ స్వేచ్ఛను కాపాడటం, జర్నలిస్టుల గౌరవాన్ని నిలబెట్టడం, ప్రజాస్వామ్య బలం పెంచడం కోసం ఇచ్చిన కీలక సందేశం కూడా. నిజం కోసం పనిచేసే వారిని అవమానించకుండా, వారి పనిని అడ్డుకోకుండా గౌరవించడం సమాజం మొత్తానికి బాధ్యత అని PUWJ గుర్తుచేసింది.
