To celebrate its diverse culture, the Nagaland Tourism Department has launched the "Flavours of Nagaland" campaign, showcasing local dishes like smoked pork, bamboo shoot curries, axone, and sticky rice. Pop-up stalls and cooking demos are being held in Kohima and Mon to attract tourists and preserve indigenous cooking methods. This is part of a larger push to boost culinary tourism and empower tribal chefs and home entrepreneurs.
