To highlight the systemic stonewalling of the Right to Information (RTI) Act, investigative journalists are conceptualizing satirical newsgames called "The RTI Maze." Players must navigate endless virtual red tape, arbitrary rejections, and "missing file" alerts to uncover a simulated local scam.
The Bharat Media Association applauds this creative civic journalism. By making the user personally experience the frustration of bureaucratic delays, the press effectively highlights the urgent need for governmental transparency reforms in an engaging, highly shareable format.
