This unfiltered, daily exposure to suffering deeply impacts long-term wellbeing.
The Bharat Media Association calls for newsrooms to monitor this cumulative trauma. Editors must actively schedule recovery periods to ensure journalists are not destroyed by the endless cycle of global and regional tragedies.
