Online Mobs: Doxxing Photojournalists Over Raw Truths

0
66

Photojournalists are increasingly becoming the primary targets of vicious digital doxxing campaigns orchestrated by political IT cells. When visual reporters publish raw, unedited images of civic failures, communal riots, or public protests, coordinated online mobs respond by publishing the photographers' personal addresses and family information to incite real-world harm.

The Bharat Media Association vehemently condemns these targeted cyberattacks. We demand rapid intervention from cyber-police units to quickly trace and penalize the coordinated networks directing digital harassment against the visual press.
