Supreme Court on Article 21: Don’t Delay Justice, It Costs Freedom

The Supreme Court has reminded that Article 21 the right to life and personal liberty is the heart of our Constitution. It warned that delays in granting bail can seriously harm a person's freedom. Even a small delay by the courts can mean someone stays in jail longer than they should. Justice must be quick, fair, and not denied due to slow legal process, the Court said.
