Massive corporate mergers in the broadcasting space are creating a severe redundancy crisis for media professionals. We demand that regulatory bodies closely scrutinize these corporate mega-mergers to prevent monopolistic control of the news and protect the financial livelihoods of dedicated Indian media workers.
