This relentless exposure is leading to a silent, escalating crisis of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder among news photographers and video crews. Despite their critical role, these frontline workers rarely receive adequate psychological support from their organizations.
Bharat Media Association urges the media industry to prioritize the mental health of its visual journalists, demanding mandatory trauma counseling and recovery protocols for the brave individuals operating the cameras.
