The Kochi offices of Asianet News were illegally trespassed by a group of 30 activists from the Students' Federation of India. The mob actively threatened the news staff in retaliation for a broadcasted report covering a sensitive sexual assault case. This brazen intimidation inside a functioning newsroom highlights the growing vulnerability of media houses to politically motivated mob justice.
