The Bharat Media Association highlights that manipulative rating systems directly incentivize toxic, hyper-sensationalized news reporting. By establishing a hard statutory framework against this commercial fraud, regulators can force news channels to return to ethical, factual journalism rather than screaming matches designed solely for fake metrics.
