As younger audiences transition entirely to social media for real-time information, legacy publications are struggling to monetize their aging, traditional subscriber base.

The Bharat Media Association urges traditional newsrooms to rapidly innovate their financial models. Relying on an older readership for circulation revenue is a ticking economic time bomb; the industry must pivot to dynamic, youth-oriented digital subscriptions to ensure future financial survival.
