“No Invitation, No Inclusion: Urdu Press Finds Itself Outside Delhi’s Dialogue”

In the capital of a diverse democracy, one voice was left unheard.Urdu journalists the storytellers of culture, emotion, and identity  were not invited to the Delhi government’s special media interaction.

Their absence raises a powerful question:Can democracy truly speak if one of its languages is silenced?

Urdu media has long been the bridge between communities, carrying the spirit of India’s pluralism.
Excluding them isn’t just a missed invitation — it’s a missed opportunity for inclusion, respect, and dialogue.

Every language deserves a seat at the table. Every voice matters.
Because the strength of journalism lies not in uniformity — but in unity through diversity.
