Speaking at a recent media and communication forum, Prof. Ghosh emphasized that the future of Indian language journalism is full of promise and potential.
He noted that with the rapid growth of digital media, regional news platforms, and vernacular readership, journalism in Indian languages is experiencing a strong revival.

According to him, more people are consuming news in their mother tongues than ever before — proving that authentic storytelling connects best in local languages.
He highlighted how regional journalists are bridging gaps between rural and urban India, ensuring that every voice is heard and every story is told.

Prof. Ghosh concluded that “Indian language journalism is not just surviving — it’s thriving, leading the way for inclusive and people-centered media.”
