Bharat Citizen Rights Council (BCRC)

The Citizen Rights Council (CRC) stands as a dedicated national civil rights organization in Bharat, formally under BMA. Committed to upholding the foundational principles of justice and liberty enshrined in the Indian Constitution, CRC is constituted by a resolute collective of legal advocates, social activists, and dedicated grassroots para-legal professionals and Most Importantly - The Media Community. Our core mission is to leverage the robust legal and democratic frameworks of the nation to protect and advance the fundamental civil and human rights of all citizens, with a particular focus on safeguarding the interests of vulnerable and marginalized sections of society.

CRC Fundamentally dedicated to shielding the populace from myriad violations that undermine human dignity and societal harmony. This includes taking rigorous action against illegal detentions, custodial abuses, extrajudicial killings, and the fabrication of false cases driven by external pressures.

We address concerns related to the disproportionate use of force, seek accountability for official and public servant negligence during times of crisis, and champion consumer rights against fraudulent practices by all economic entities.

To effectively pursue its mandate, CRC employs a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach across the nation. Our activities include conducting specialized training workshops on criminal law and human rights, undertaking thorough investigations into alleged violations, and strategically utilizing Public Interest Litigation (PIL) to advocate for systemic reform within the criminal justice framework. CRC actively champions prisoners' rights, monitors legislative developments to ensure human rights principles are upheld in law-making, conducts extensive public awareness campaigns, and mobilizes citizens for collective action on critical socio-legal issues impacting the fabric of Bharat.

With an extensive pan-India network that reaches the farthest corners of the country, CRC also serves as a vital support structure. We actively collaborate with and empower like-minded organizations and movements across Bharat that are dedicated to the relentless pursuit of Justice and Equity, strengthening the collective resolve for a better nation.

The inception of CRC represents a pivotal moment, born from the conviction of those who refused to passively accept injustice. They were pioneers who dared to challenge the status quo, determined to forge a path forward for national progress. In an era marked by the pervasive issue of child servitude, these visionary individuals saw beyond the immediate challenges, fueled by a profound commitment to the future of Bharat's children. Armed with unwavering determination, they embarked on a courageous fight against entrenched criminal elements and exploitative forces, exhibiting exemplary national spirit.

CRC catalyzing a significant nationwide movement aimed at creating a truly child-friendly society. This movement is centered on ensuring that every child in Bharat is free from exclusion and exploitation and has guaranteed access to quality education – a cornerstone for the nation's development. Our efforts focus on the systematic identification, liberation, rehabilitation, and educational reintegration of children affected by servitude. This is achieved through direct interventions, fostering robust community participation, building strategic partnerships, advocating for ethical practices in all sectors, supporting the rights of workers, leading targeted national campaigns (on education, anti-trafficking, forced labour, decent work, and creating child-friendly villages), and mobilizing the masses towards unified action for this critical national cause.

CRC's impactful work has generates a positive momentum, not only across India but also resonating within the international community. The trajectory is increasingly favoring the rights and well-being of children, symbolizing a transformation that brings light and warmth to countless young lives. To sustain and expand this vital national mission, CRC seeks the support of every patriotic citizen. We earnestly call upon you to join hands with us in this noble endeavor, to contribute to building a strong and just Bharat where the smile of freedom, security, and opportunity graces the face of every child.
