Banagalore- Karnataka - In the last two years, Bengaluru Urban has recorded a staggering 3,537 human rights complaints the highest in Karnataka. Cases rose from 1,515 in 2023 to 2,022 in 2024. Statewide, 9,509 complaints were filed, yet only 80 cases resulted in recommendations for compensation. The numbers reveal a troubling reality: while complaints are rising, justice and relief for victims remain rare, exposing a serious gap between filing grievances and securing meaningful action.
