Manipur - President’s Rule in Manipur Extended for Another 6 Months
The Central Government has decided to extend President’s Rule in Manipur for another six months, starting from August 13, 2025.
This decision comes in light of the ongoing political instability and administrative challenges in the state.
Since there is no elected government and the law and order situation remains tense, the Centre will continue to directly manage the administration.
