From June 1, 2025, Vidhana Soudha, Karnataka’s legislative seat, opened its doors for public guided tours—a first in the building’s history. Organized by KSTDC and the Speaker’s Office, visitors can explore the Assembly Hall, foundation stone, and other architectural highlights. Tours are held on Sundays and selected Saturdays, with group sizes limited to 30 and ticket pricing set at ₹50 for adults (free for students under 16). The initiative aims to foster civic awareness and celebrate Karnataka’s legislative heritage. Each tour lasts about 90 minutes and covers 1.5 km. The “democracy immersion” experience has drawn wide public curiosity and interest from school groups nationwide.
