Construction of New Assembly Building in Amaravati Begins

The construction of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly building in Amaravati has officially commenced. The project, awarded to Larsen & Toubro (L&T) at a cost of ₹617 crore, is part of the state's plan to develop Amaravati as its capital. The building will span 11.21 lakh square feet and is expected to be completed within three years.
