Seven talented Rajasthan basketball players have been selected for Team India at the FISU World University Games 2025, being held from July 16–27 in Rhine‑Ruhr, Germany. This includes women's team captain Yashika Singhal, along with Sonal Mahala and Manvi Srivastava. The men's squad features four players—Anshuman Shekhawat (Udaipur), Lokesh Kumar Sharma, Mohammed Ishan, and Yash Vardhan Singh. The team trained rigorously at a 15‑day camp in Kochi. Their participation marks India’s return to global university basketball after 45 years, and these athletes represent a rising sports legacy from Rajasthan.
