Rajasthan Cabinet Approves Medical Tourism, Green Energy & Urban Policies

On July 15, Rajasthan’s State Cabinet led by CM Bhajan Lal Sharma approved three transformative policies:
-
The Heal in Rajasthan Policy 2025 to promote medical tourism by integrating modern and AYUSH healthcare with affordable lodging.
-
The Township Development Policy 2025, which mandates 7% of residential township land for parks and 8% for public utility space.
-
A revised City Gas Distribution Policy promoting safe natural gas usage to reduce carbon emissions, with joint ventures aimed at drawing ₹11,200 crore in renewable energy investment. These policies are projected to boost economic growth, healthcare access, sustainable urban infrastructure, and clean energy adoption statewide.
