HYDRAA Commissioner Inspects Flood-Affected Areas as Patny Nala overflows.
Hyderabad : In the wake of heavy rains lashing the city, Hyderabad Commissioner conducted a field inspection of the flood-affected areas on Thursday night . The situation turned critical after the 'Patny Nala' in Secunderabad overflowed, inundating several low-lying colonies and disrupting normal life.
As a precautionary measure, the "HYDRAA Disaster Response Teams"& "Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) launched emergency evacuation efforts. Boats were deployed to rescue stranded residents and shift them to safer locations.
Authorities reported that several homes were submerged, and traffic movement was severely affected in multiple localities. The Commissioner instructed officials to remain on high alert, ensure proper drainage clearance, and provide relief support including food and temporary shelter to the affected.
